New Focus For PROSSIS

We have been doing more consultancy work and consequently less of our efforts have been going into direct sales activity for the products we distribute. While we continue to offer support to customers,  we are not actively seeking out new customers for our distributed products.

Our recent efforts have been focused on:

  • Developing a new business opportunity; providing marketing support including website and other promotional activities, in addition to putting in place operational systems, and helping with new product development and launch.
  • Research and analysis of a clean energy concept;  including IP  protection, market situation & opportunity, key driver(s)  identification, competitive positioning, value proposition, and ROI. This will probably extend into the development of a full business plan.

Standard Setting Particle Counters from TSI

All of TSI’s AeroTrak particle counters are now calibrated and Fully ISO 21501-4 Compliant.

AeroTrak Airborne Particle Counters

Setting the Standard for your Everyday Measurements

The new AeroTrak Particle counter range now includes 0.01µm capability and 100 LPM sampling. The  handheld and portable counters all output ISO 14644-1 Pass/Fail reports and incorporate features that makes the AeroTrak particle counters the standard for everyday cleanroom monitoring . Units for Pharmaceutical applications can also produce EU Annex 1 reports. Reports can be downloaded via Print, Ethernet, USB to a computer and now also directly download data to a USB thumb/stick drive.

Graphical User Interface (GUI) updates makes screen navigation, user setup and operation easier. Addition of a more efficient pump allows longer sample tubing to be used when needed, making filter scanning and testing easier. All the units provide the user with the lightest and smallest package available for comparable performance.

If you need a particle counter, or have to update to a counter to meet the new ISO 21501-4  standard, take a look at these, after all most manufacturer of particle counters uses TSI equipment for their calibration. PROSSIS can help you decide which one is right for you.

Below is a Question to MHRA and their answer, may help

Extracted from the BloodBank Talk Forum
There appears to be some confusion about the appropriate method to use in order to record refrigerator temperature. Whether core temp or air temp is better and if core temp is monitored at all, what volume of fluid should be used for the sensor to be placed into. What does the MHRA recommend and why?
Response

For routine monitoring the MHRA recommends that core probes with a representative volume (this will differ depending on whether the site handles primarily paediatric or adult units) are used. The reason core is recommended is that it gives a direct correlation to the actual condition within the components, if core probes are used then there should be no delay on the alarm and the alarms need to be set at 2 – 6ºC. Air probes can be used for routine monitoring but in this case the site has to demonstrate how this correlates to the component conditions especially where alarm delays are set and where the alarm limits do not directly correlate to the BSQR art four requirements e.g. 2 – 6ºC. Air probes can be problematic as they will show temperature fluctuations very quickly e.g. door openings and may lead to nuisance alarms. Air probes are however recommended for mapping.
